We are a student-run university organisation that was initially registered in Semester 2, 2018. The establishment of Curtin's Women in Business can be attributed to a group of young driven and passionate women who held the shared goal of supporting and empowering other women within university, who have hopes of entering the business sector. The club is continuing to branch out connections and knowledge that all come in hand to help promote and provide support to future female leaders.

CURTIN WOMEN IN BUSINESS?
Curtin University Women in Business is a women-run organisation established to be a strong platform for women empowerment in all areas of both social and professional development. Our vision is to empower the women of our time by providing a community that aims to inspire and encourage personal prosperity within each desired career.
Curtin Women In Business strongly advocates for providing women with a seat at the table through hosting corporate level opportunities designed to educate and inform members on the industry and how they can strive.
We aspire to move for change in women's advancement and build a community that supports and connects women to opportunities.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Our organisation offers a range of events throughout the year that aim to educate and support our members in the advancement of their career. We offer events that introduce members to the corporate world and small business ventures, encourage their growth in profile building, and build their personal networks. We also offer social events for our members to form meaningful relationships and a sense of community both within University and the wider community. These events offer a safe environment for any female or female identifying person wanting to build new friendships or talk to like minded individuals .
OUR GOALS
AS COMMITTEE
As the committee of this organisation, we aim to provide a bridge between members and the goals they want to achieve. Whether it is with the development of their career building, or the relationship they want to build with certain external parties who can help them achieve further advancement. We aim to provide support and guidance to our members to increase their confidence in building relationships with professionals and their fellow members. In addition, our committee actively seeks to build personal relationships with the members through social events to establish trust, friendship and a safe environment.
